Introduction: Providing entertainment for Sacramento and Northern California events, my live caricature art will be the perfect accent to your party. I am an award winning artist across multiple mediums, both traditional and digital. I have completed live caricature events for The San Diego County Fair, The Big Fresno Fair, Google, and Papyrus, while continuing my retail caricature series at the LegoLand Theme Park. I am willing to work up to 8 hour engagements, and am also available for individual caricature commissions. The largest number of characters I've fit on a single page has been 13. You can select profile, front or 3/4 views for the illustration. Your guests will have a keepsake to cherish your special day.

Jon was an absolute pleasure to have at my wedding! I could not be happier with his work, and I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone looking for a caricature artist. He is well worth the price he charges (which is very reasonable!), his work quality is impeccable and he was so friendly and easy to work with.
We weren't sure how popular a caricature artist would be at our wedding since most of the guests were older. Jon was a TOTAL HIT! Literally every single guest had their caricature drawn, and at the end of the night everyone was RAVING about how amazing and fun he was! He made the guests feel very comfortable and actually asked guests if they wanted a specific theme or style to their drawings which was really nice. All the caricatures were also fairly flattering and true to form. Nothing was overly mean or exaggerated like some artists draw which is perfect for an event like a wedding.
During the event, Jon connected up a webcam and streamed his work to a TV (which is all part of his typical set-up) so that people waiting or nearby can watch as he draws. This was a really nice touch as it provided some entertainment for everyone and also is a great way to get people interested in having their caricatures drawn!
Jon himself is an absolute pleasure. He is so friendly and sociable. He got along well with all of the guests and he was so fun to work with in person. All in all, everyone loved Jon. He was practically the only thing our guests talked about it because they were so excited by it.
Logistically, Jon is easy to work with, and I was able to set up everything through email. He offers several different packages to meet different needs and price points which is very nice. He also allows you to pick a border or logo to have printed onto the paper if you want. On the day of, he brings absolutely everything he needs. All you need to do is supply him an area and some power. He even has his own tent if it's an outside event and raining. He offers several suggestions / means to deal with line control as well. Since we had a smaller group, we opted to have people just line up or jump in when there was an opening. He can also do a ticket system or a signup sheet with times if that may work better for you. Jon was also really flexible. We weren't sure what time to have him come as it depended on the weather, and he was perfectly ok with a last minute decision.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Jon to anyone looking for some entertainment for their event! He is an AMAZING caricature artist and is really wonderful to work with.

We hired Jon for our Wedding back in May in Woodland, and he was absolutely amazing. We wanted to do something different than a photo booth and hiring a caricature artist was a fun and unique addition to the reception. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about Jon. He was on time and went above and beyond to ensure that part of our reception went as flawlessly as possible. We would highly recommend hiring him for your event, and will certainly keep in in mind for future events!

Absolutely amazing! I hired him for my wedding and there was always a line of people waiting to get their caricature drawing. It was a hit! He also drew a beautiful drawing of my husband and I that our wedding party all signed at our rehearsal dinner:)!

jon is and was so incredible! I picked him for my sons wedding because he had the style I was looking for! The bonus was he is so engaging to every guest. Super friendly and made every guest feel important! And his caricatures were out of this world! Our guests enjoyed Jon so much! Thanks Jon for being apart of my sons wedding! You were a hit!
