- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Surveys can be very expensive to someone who has never consulted with a land surveyor before. A typical survey can range from $1500 up to $15,000. It’s important to discuss with the client their needs and concerns for their particular project. Open, honest and clear communication is key to understanding the clients needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Taking time and listening to the needs of the client is paramount. Discuss with the client the process and the laws which governs the practice of land surveying.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
He is a graduate from the University of Idaho and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, he also earned his A.S. degree in Surveying/Geomatics from Sacramento City College.
