DO NOT HIRE. I never take the time to leave reviews but I have never been more dissatisfied with a service.
I paid over $400 to have two desks moved and ended up with a broken desk that I now have to pay someone else to repair.
They did not wrap or strap down the furniture, and the lack of care showed in the result. When I confronted the owner about the damage, he agreed to refund the tip I had given him. He then stalled, and the refund never showed up.
If you are going to charge professional moving rates, you need to provide professional moving services: protect the furniture, secure it properly, take responsibility for damage, and follow through on what you promise your customers.
For over $400 to move two desks, this was a total rip-off. I would never use this company again and strongly recommend hiring experienced, professional movers instead. Don’t be fooled by the name “Luxury Hauling.”
