Introduction: I am a California notary public since 2002 with over 900 loan signs. I have been background checked, bonded with the State of California, and have errors and omission insurance. I am a certified loan signing agent, and I'm available on days, evenings, and weekends on short notice. I have experience in all types of real estate transactions, loan mods, purchases, refis, reverse mortgages, and commercial loans. I use an HP Laserjet 4200 dual tray printer for documents, and follow directions as requested. I will travel up to 20 miles (this is negotiable) one way, to meet with borrowers at their place of choice; and when signing is completed, I return the documents ASAP. My basic fee for signing is $100.00 including printing 2 sets of copies. Fees increase for some signings like reverse mortgages, a second loan at same time, mileage over the first 20 miles, or more than 8 pages of faxbacks. I serve southern San Joaquin County, all of Stanislaus County, and northern Merced County. I am also available to notarize all non-mortgage documents, with state-approved I.D.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When contacting the Notary Public ask how long they have been comissioned, how much experience they have, and if the have error & omission insurance. If they charge any fee's (like travel) over and above the maximum allowed by the State of California for the notarization.
