- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sliding-scale rates are available to families who need them. The first lesson is considered a trial, so the first lesson is always free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With every new student, I use the first lesson to determine overall playing level, goals, and plans for future flute studies. I customize lesson plans and my overall approach to teaching each individual student. Every student deserves a completely personalized experience in private lessons, so that's what I strive to provide!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing the flute since I was nine years old and started taking private lessons when I was ten. I have a Bachelor's in flute performance from the University of North Texas and a Master's in flute performance from Stony Brook University.
