Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My painting crew and I take preparation for all paint jobs very seriously. Thorough preparation and the right preparation is what makes a paint job stand out from the rest as well as ensuring that the work will be long lasting - especially for exterior work and highly trafficked interior work like cabinets, vanities and doors. In addition we take a great deal of care and pride in our craftsmanship to make a job look clean and crisp. We do all of the little extras too that a lot of painters don't do - little things like patching and caulking of holes & seams, smoothing rough edges and areas before painting, removing all electrical switch plates, window and door hardware and making sure our "cuts" (edging) is as smooth as possible. It's these kinds of things that make our work stand out and our customers come back to hire us over and over again. Interacting with my clients and helping them feel secure about hiring my painting company so they feel assured of getting a great job with reliable service from a professional, trustworthy painter who cares about what they do. Being able to transform someone's home or office and see their positive response at the end of the job is worthwhile.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

All of the above. But also realize, as a customer, home or business owner you are entrusting someone who you don'™t know personally to come onto your property or into your home or business usually for a number of days and you need to make sure you trust them completely.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The painting business is very competitive which means there are a lot of painters bidding on jobs and prepared to bid low to get the job. But a low price doesn't always equate to a good job. "You pay for what you get" applies to painting perfectly. When hiring a painter check them out, look at their references and call those references. Make sure they're licensed, bonded and insured. If they have a website look at the work they have posted there and make sure it cross references with their credentials and client references. That's how I recommend you check my painting company out. You may not get the cheapest price going but you willll get more than what you pay for.
