How did you get started doing this type of work?
I tried LIving Trusts but my clients kept dying, and one firm asked me to do Living Trusts PLUS Workers' Comp. The Comp clients all lived, so I switched to Workers' comp!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a Certified Specialist attorney! The State Bar has specialty exams in Workers Compensation, like an extra Bar Exam. Specialists have to pass that extra bar exam plus take many claims to trial and file appeals. Plus Specialists have to take more Continuing Education classes all year long in new Workers' Compensation laws. A Workers' Comp Specialist costs exactly the same as those 'TV' lawyers, but they get you to real doctors and really know the latest laws.
