When I say the best teacher my kids have ever I mean it! We have never had one better. Both my kids were very comfortable with Jacqueline and learned more with her than they have with anyone else. They left lessons so confident but at the same time aware and respectful of water. Cant say enough great things about her and her lessons.

I had the great pleasure of having my eldest daughter learn to swim with Jaclyn. We had tried a baby survival swim that did not go well, and at three and half year old we tried again with Jaclyn. Immediately, my daughter took to her with her warm smile and ease of words for her to follow. Before our lessons begun, I got to watch Jaclyn finish her lesson prior to us, and it was with a group of children with special needs. It was amazing to see how she supported them in their emotional and physical needs and allowed the water to be a safe place. Quickly, my daughter learned to swim, something I later learned was not common, but more on that later. Near the end of my daughters set of lessons, an older lady came, she could swim already, but I watched as I tried off and changed my wet little one into dry clothes, Jaclyn was transforming this womans water experience. She learned how to do a variety of strokes and found swimming to be a safe form of exercise for her. I inquired about a few lessons for me and Jaclyn created a mini class with a few other moms that soon became one of my favorite things in a time period when I was unable to do traditional exercise. She took me from being an average back yard pool swimmer to someone who eventually swam a mile! Its been years since Ive been able to swim with her, shortly after my lessons concluded ( and I found a friend to swim with) she moved away. By then it was time for my twins to learn to swim, which instead of being a quick, 3-6 week process, actually took years and thousands of dollars to teach them. I am thankful they can swim now too, but the differences between my oldest and my set of twins foundation of learning to swim is evident every time they dive into the water. The confidence my oldest daughter has in the water is notable and a testament to what a great instructor Jaclyn is. If you are wondering about lessons, take it from me, mom of three, early childhood special educator and developmentalist , Jaclyn has the experience, knowledge and kind soul to make the water another wonder for you and your child!

I cannot say enough positive things about Jaclyn. She has a true gift for working with kids and an unmatched level of patience. Privileged to have watched Jaclyns milestones over the years as a swimmer herself and now the proud lead instructor of Sundae Swim School. Jaclyn is so patient with little kids and knows how to connect with older ones too. She has a lot of experience with water safety skills which shows in her work. Would definitely recommend.
