I was an intern at Zovargo for six months and it was one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life. Founders Amanda and Larry put their all into every Zovargo program, and they put the same amount of effort into helping their interns improve. Through Zovargo, I learned to be comfortable in front of a crowd, present information in an engaging way, and to handle and care for a wide variety of animals. I think their internship is the best opportunity in San Diego for people who want to become educators and have a passion for animals and conservation.

I had the pleasure of interning with Zovargo and its an amazing organization. Being a part of their team was a phenomenal learning opportunity; not just in animal care and handling but also for communication and education.
