I had a lot of evidence to prove my innocence, but I was being investigated for a very serious crime. The detective was really rude towards me, and I offered three times to voluntarily come in for interviews with out an attorney present to tell my side of the story and to show all of the phone records I had to prove my innocence. The detective was not swayed, and continued to conduct his "investigation" showing no interest in my side of the story, or giving me any indication of how long it would take or when he might want to actually speak to me. Because of the serious nature of the investigation I reluctantly decided to hire an attorney. I say reluctantly because I feel that if I am innocent and have the evidence to prove it, I should not need an attorney to defend myself. My initial phone consultation with Mr. Ozols, I gave him an annotated account of the story and he immediately put me at ease and said I had nothing to worry about, he did not promise any particular outcome, that is illegal for an attorney to do, but he did recognize the facts were on my side and that it was pretty obvious. After an in office consultation with Mr. Ozols, I told him the full story and everything that might come up during the course of the investigation that would not look good for me. He took all that into account, reviewed my evidence and began to pressure the detective, calling relentlessly. Initially, the detective stonewalled Mr. Ozols as well but her persisted and prevailed, the investigation was dropped, no charges filed. I believe had I not hired an attorney, they would have filed very serious charges against me despite a lack of evidence and would have tried to get me to plea to lesser charges. I am appreciative for Mr. Ozols, he made himself available to me as well as the detective outside of normal business hours and helped to ease my stress as much as possible through out the process. His contract negotiations were straight forward, simple and very fair. I strongly recommend Alex for any criminal defense needs. He listens to and cares about his clients and handles the case as if he were defending a close friend. Alex, again, thank you.

I had Alex represent me on a Criminal matter where I was innocent. I actually had another lawyer working for me originally that literally just wanted me to take a plea at the first court date. Although that lawyer did a lot of advertising on google, I thought something was fishy. I asked my friends and someone recommended Alex. He literally told me that there was no way I was taking a plea, we were going to fight this thing. For months, he fought my case vigorously and then the day before trial we got exactly what I wanted. If you are hiring a lawyer, be skeptical of the ones advertising all around google. Check out reviews and meet with them, get someone who is passionate, there are a lot of scammers out there who just want you to take a plea. This guy is the real deal.
