FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on an estimate of how many hours will be required to shoot and edit the photos and video I take, along with drive time and any other expenses as requested by the clients. My hourly rate is $60/hour and so all estimates are based on that. I'm happy to negotiate on scope if need be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Optimally we spend a good deal time on the phone, in person, or on Skype or Zoom talking through the project, their wants and needs, the scope of the work, and most importantly who they are and what they would like conveyed through my photos or the video stories I'm telling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Through the years, I have dozens of hours of professional development via photography groups like SMUGMUG and online courses/books/resources (Scott Kelby, Creative Live, Digital Photography School, etc.). I am always working to improve my craft and expand my perspective.
