Meg is amazing and a real professional! Her experience in photography really shows in her work. From our first meeting with Meg, we were thoroughly impressed with how detailed, professional, and natural her approach was. We were not sure about having a photoshoot as we don't regularly take lots of pictures together but Meg really made us feel relaxed and calm by guiding us during our engagement shoot. We instantly felt comfortable and confident that she would do a great job as our wedding photographer.
Leading up to our wedding, she was excellent with maintaining communication and she gave us great information about how to prepare for the engagement shoot, how to plan our photo lists and what would work best with our timeline. In fact, she helped give good feedback about our timeline, which was extremely helpful. Our wedding was a DIY wedding, which meant that we did everything ourselves and didn't have a wedding coordinator but Meg was great with communicating with our wedding party about the timeline. We were also impressed with how open she was to suggestions about particular shots we wanted.
During our wedding Meg was very organized, efficient and kept everything moving along. She was so attentive about keeping us relaxed and she even was so helpful in keeping me hydrated. She would jump in to make sure we got the shots that we would treasure. Meg did an amazing job capturing candid photos and the essence of our wedding, all without us even noticing that he was floating around! Since we didn't have a videographer, we loved all the natural moments she captured of our guests and of us too of course!
She was very great with reminding us about the family portraits that we wanted to have. Meg was so great with all of our family and guests too! Some of our friends were so happy to have the chance to get a nice photograph taken that day. I must also mention that our wedding was outdoors so the full sun made it challenging to find good lighting but Meg was prepared as she arrived early and found several great spots around the venue to capture great pictures. She would quickly adapt as the elements would change and this is definitely not easy to do. She has a great eye for lighting. Meg went above and beyond as she even stayed longer to help break down the wedding decorations and pack the party rentals. She didn't have to but I could tell that she is a genuine person as she took action and helped clear things. We are so grateful to you Meg!!!
We were extremely happy with the quality of our photographs, we even had a guest mention that several of the final images look like a Renoir painting! If you're looking for someone who is professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced and overall a genuine person, Meg is the photographer to capture your special day. I loved working with her for our engagement photos! She is very nice and helpful, and always responded to me quickly. She gave me great advice for what to wear and how to coordinate our outfits well. My fiancé and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, and she helped us loosen up. We had great photos to choose from for our save the dates, and we definitely will be booking her for our wedding day as well!

I booked Meg Marie Photography for the my son's very first birthday party and I am so impressed her pictures as well as her passion and professionalism. She is really friendly and has warm personality to take children's pictures and that surely comes out to her pictures.
I met with her for about 30-45 minutes before the event date so that I can clearly communicate what kind of photos I want. She came to the event on time and introduced herself to my guests before taking pictures of them. I really appreciate that Meg went out of her way to take pictures of my guests that they really appreciate as everyone wants to keep some good family pictures. It turned out to be presents for my guests.

Meg is friendly, warm, creative and excellent photographer . We recently worked with her on my mom's 90th birthday and all 18 of us have only one thing to say, She is an outstanding photographer. She enjoys her job and knows how to get the natural reaction of her subjects creating true smiles and excitement and beautiful composition of the picture produced. She was able to capture how my parents feelings at the time and she was flexible and offer great suggestions for location and group poses. We all love love our pictures. I will hire her again.
