These guys are awesome. I’ve hired a lot of movers over the years and primarily use thumbtack. I’ve done local and long distance moves and have always had a positive experience, but this crew was next level. Very nice and professional. I’ve been a process engineer for over a decade, and the way they tackled the project and the ideas they had for overcoming some of the challenges with my furniture disassembly was better than I could have come up with. Made a potentially long and rough day a great one!

Moved into a 2br apartment, did not have very much to move. The movers showed up on time, were very professional, wrapped everything and made sure everything made it in the same state they picked it up in. They also went beyond what was expected of them and set up my tv.
My problem was that because of HOA requirement, I had to set up a new furniture delivery on the same day. On top of that, there was someone else moving out of the building the same day which slowed down the process terribly. The movers were paid by the hour and all these circumstances made the move more expensive than I anticipated.
However, as I said, the movers were courteous and professional and the price difference was mainly because of circumstances that I could not control but that you may want to think about if you move into a building with a shared elevator.

Great Moving company. We had to move from our 4 bedroom house about 4 ioles away. We know it would be a hard move because of the large amount of stuff we have with our 2 boys. Mikhail took the time to come over before the move to meet face to face and get me a estimate of time. I knew we were going to need a lot of help, so we decided on 4 movers.
The moving day was stressful, we still had a few boxes that needed to be packed. Mikhail's team helped to carefully pack the remaining items. They also have a ton of moving blankets and boxes, and made sure all the furniture was wrapped before moving.
Mikhail also let us keep everything in the truck overnight, so we could finish getting the new house ready with some last minute cleaning. This really helped us a ton.
The Globe crew was steady, they did no move so fast that they hit walls or dinged furniture, the moved at a steady pace were they were careful but quick.
I highly recommend Globe Moving. They make the move less stressful, they listen, and a very professional.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Making arrangements with us for your move is very easy as we are very responsive. We cover all your furniture during the move. Nothing gets broken or lost, and everything is fully secured in our trucks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as a Technical Advisor at a law firm for 12 years and have my paralegal certificate. Additionally, I worked for 3 years at a large beekeeping company where I managed the logistics of transporting thousands of beehives across the country on a regular basis. My experience in shipping large, valuable items as well as skills developed as a Technical Advisor prepared me to start my own moving company.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
