Hi there! I am a professional portrait and lifestyle photographer based in San Diego, CA.
The most important part of creating a fantastic finished product comes down to one word: communication! From before the shoot we will brainstorm on how we can make your shoot as meaningful as possible. The details matter - location, clothing, and time of day mean the world.
I create timeless images with bold color, light, and strong concepts, usually with elements of nature. I have worked as a photographer for approximately 5 years and am so grateful for the lifestyle that it provides and for all the kind people I am able to meet.

We hired David to take maternity couples photos of us and we had an amazing experience! He was super responsive and easy to book, showed up 10 minutes early and was incredibly professional but also very friendly. He had a great eye for lighting and what would work in the environment and was very skilled at giving us different poses. We especially appreciated this as we don’t often hire photographers and wouldn’t know where to even start with poses, but he immediately made us both feel at ease and relaxed with his excellent artistic direction. And the best is the end result - we are in love with the photos he sent us. They are absolutely stunning and captured our moment in an even more beautiful way than we hoped. I highly recommend working with David, we will definitely hire him again for other photoshoots.

My prices include ~40 photos/hour of shooting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am a people person, I love brainstorming and the planning process. Typically I will discuss the general idea of a shoot, then get down to specifics like clothing, location, time, and overall look. I love to submit my own ideas and expand on the clients ideas as well.
