Doggy Walk & Wash
About this pro
Maria and Riki are good friends of mine and I've seen first hand how much they love their own dog, named Shampoo. They work very well as a team and go though a lot of care in walking and grooming dogs of their clients. Given the competitive nature of dog walking businesses in San Francisco, I know Maria and Riki are committed to maintaining positive relationships with all of their clients. If you are a dog owner and seeking dog walkers who are both reliable and professional, I highly recommend that you make an appointment with Doggy Walk and Wash. I'm confident you will be satisfied with the high level of service Maria and Riki will provide. Samuel Harvell San FranciscoMay 12, 2010
Me and my boyfriend are working profressionals that have the typical 8 to 5 schedule and hated the fact that we had to leave our dog for more than 8 hours a day. We have a small half yorkie/half maltese named Moose, who has alot of energy! I got referred to Maria and Riki through a guy I met walking Moose while our dogs were playing. He couldn't stop talking about how much he trusts them going into his house when he wasn't there and how much his dog has been more relaxed. I decided to give them a call and schedule a meeting so we can ask them questions and just feel them out. We automatically felt comfortable with them and you can just tell they are good, trustworthy people So after about 5 min. we decided to give the whole "dog walker" a try. After about a week our Moose was so much better, you could tell he was alot more relaxed. They also have dogs that make great playmates and it helps your dog be more social, which you kind of need them to be in the city! They have a key to our place and I completely trust them going into our home when we are not there. We have been using their services for about 2 months now and we will continue to use their services for awhile. They are great with dogs, not to mention they beat any other dog walker prices! This is a great opportunity for your dog to run around during the day when your at work. Highly recommended!May 12, 2010

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I share $45 for overnight stays and the price is negotiable if the stays are longer or there are several pets coming. I treat visiting let's like my own and I make sure they are treated like mine.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to find out what the customers needs are so I can make sure I can meet them. A phone or email introduction followed by a phone conversation or a meet up if the pet will stay with me for an extended period of time. This decreases anxiety when a pet is left with a stranger.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been taking care of dogs my entire life and have owned Doggy Walk and Watch for years.
