I am a beginner and didn't know much about playing Guitar and Music theory. She is a great teacher, she always has a way to make me understand the critical aspects. Within no time Judy has brought me to a level where I could read music and play basic chords and make transitions. Playing guitar is a combination of the lessons you get from your guitar teacher and practicing a lot, judy has been really good in making me focus on the right aspects of guitar playing. So far everything has been great. Looking forward to more great lessons.

About this pro

As an entertainer, what makes me stand out is I'm a female guitarist who really knows how to play the guitar, sing and write upbeat songs. My shows and my vibe are very positive. I'm also a true entertainer. I dress in fun costumes and tailor my performance to my client's needs. I'm also featured in Guitar Player Magazine as one of the top female guitarists in the area. As a guitar teacher, ( I also teach ukulele and bass) I'm extremely patient and easy going. I work with a lot of kids and beginners as well as adults and seniors. I do my best to make learning fun and easy. :-) I love to perform, entertain and bring joy to others. :-) BTW, I'm willing to travel farther than 150 miles if the price is right and the event is groovy! :-) As a guitar teacher, I love showing others how to play and implement good habits from the start. Proper technique such as how to hold the pick, tune the guitar, what the parts of the guitar are and what they do plus rhythm, chords and strumming. I can also teach how to read music and tablature.

I love music and playing the guitar. When I realized I had the talent for it and I decided to go for it. :-) I've never regretted my decision.

Most common is nightclubs because they're easier to book. What I love is festivals, Summer Concerts, fairs, private parties and corporate events. I love kids so I love engaging with them at outdoor events in the Summer.
