Introduction: Amanda Fuerst has over 10 years of teaching experience and is a local Musikgarten teacher and chamber musician in the Los Angeles Area. She holds a Master's degree in flute performance from Northwestern University where she studied with Walfrid Kujala.
Her students range from beginners to advanced high school students and even adult amateurs. All her students are grounded in the fundamentals of flute playing and learn how to practice in addition to understanding how to interpret music. Some of her students have gone on to successfully compete in competition and audition into honors ensembles.
