How does your service stand out?
We offer comprehensive immigration services, both affirmative and removal defense. I have represented clients in immigration courts in California, Washington, Arizona and Texas. I have filed numerous successful appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, as well as federal courts.
I am also a San Francisco Bar Association designated Attorney-of-the Day in SF Immigration Court, and I have taught numerous classes, both to attorneys and non-attorneys on immigration practice.
What do you enjoy about the work you do?
I have always enjoyed working with those in need of immigration benefits, as the gratitude expressed by my clients is irreplaceable. Further, as an immigrant myself, I truly understand the value of feeling safe and legal in a foreign country. While immigration laws can be arcane and procedure can often be convoluted, I strive to inform my clients of all the steps and rules involved, rather than just saying "we'll take care of it." I also know that communication between a lawyer and client is very important, and key to a successful resolution of a case.
