Introduction: Hi, I'm Ryan and have been a trainer for 10+ years, and recently completed a career goal becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant and love incorporating therapeutic techniques to achieve our goals. I use my experience and education to prescribe unique training programs based on observation and assessment of your quality of movement and personal goals. I will review overall health risks, previous injuries, and observe and assess movement patterns prior to implementing an exercise program. And after that, it's all about building a foundation of fun and challenging workouts that meet your exercise level. My goals for my clients is to not only achieve your goals, but implement exercise into a daily habit, whether it's working out, hiking, or taking a daily walk! My love and passion for personal training stems from the opportunity to work with people, and hopefully we'll get to work together soon!

Ryan has been an excellent trainer and coach for my husband and me. He makes exercising super fun and both my husband and I we look forward to our sessions. Currently we meet with Ryan twice a week. He is engaging and attentive. While we do not have any injuries sometimes your body is just not there and when we ask for modifications Ryan always has something for us. He pays great attention to our physical and mental well being. He shows safety comes first. He is creative and gently pushes us to challenge ourselves. In just a few months we have noticed visible positive changes in our bodies and mind.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I like to sit down and get to know you and hear your goals and expectations. We will write an exercise program catering to your fitness and lifestyle goals. I'll take you through movement tests to observe joint mobility and strength. I'll teach and progress movements that help improve your strength, endurance, mobility and most importantly injury prevention.

    I've been coaching/training for 12 years working in big box gyms such as 24 hour fitness, non-profit gyms (The Well at CSUS), and currently corporate wellness with Google. I have a passion for helping others work toward a healthier lifestyle by practicing mindfulness, nutrition, exercise, and a lot of FUN while doing it!
