FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing model is based on standard consulting, coaching, and scope of work rates. The scope of the work assessment process is complimentary. After the assessment, a quote is provided to the prospective customer for review. For first-time projects, the customer will be offered a discounted rate and/or fee based on the scope of the work. Speaking engagements are negotiable. Grantwriting is dependent on the type of business structure. Business consulting has a standard rate. However, I recommend that a small business invests in our Small Business Growth Subscription or Grant Readiness Subscription, which is a fraction of what they will ever pay using an expert. Entrepreneurs must be lifelong learners to start, develop, and grow into a sustainable business. If the business owner is willing to develop and learn using our Small Business Fitness Center resources fused with mass exposure, coaching sessions, tips, power pods, and much more, they will get a bang for their buck and learn what I do every day for $67 per month. If you purchased a gym membership, it works if you work it. Our concept is the same if you work, it will work for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process flow is straightforward, starting with a complimentary assessment to develop an agreeable scope of work and timeline to accomplish the desired goals. However, keep in mind that the goals should be attainable and not overstated to attempt to achieve something unrealistic. My process is realistic with a diplomatic straight-shooting approach either it is possible or not possible. How do we make it possible to move forward if it is not possible? We are a partnership working together, creating a win-win relationship. Who doesn't like a winning relationship?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education background includes five degrees, including an MBA from Capella University (Summa Cum Laude honor student). As a result, I was invited to join two academic societies, Delta Mu Delta and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). I am a proud member of both. My grant writing and RFP funding profile are extensive, with millions of dollars in collective awards won for my clients, with over 35 years of experience from college funding to federal program funding for NPOs, CBOs, and for-profit companies. I have worked with the Northern California Small Business Development Center network in two capacities, five years as an SBDC advisor and two years as an SBDC Director. I am contracting with five NorCal SBDCs, as of January 2023, including the NorCal Regional SBDC. My credentials include being Bay Area's top small business radio personality and coach on AM 1220 KDOW and iHeart radio. Speaking engagements include business training (various topics), and speaking at women organizations, high school and college keynote, real estate groups, professional groups motivational, and faith based organizations.
