About
Back in the 70's while studying music in college I answered a job board in the student union building. It was for a warehouse man in a drapery factory. I soon befriended an installer and eventually went out on my own as a contractor...so I literally started my career by sweeping the floors of a drapery factory. 30 almost 40 years later I have had pretty much every type of window covering pass through my hands in a number of situations.

He measured the all the windows in our new house for windowtreatment. He was really precise with the measurements, and helped me figure out whether to inner/outer mount each window as well as which measurements to use depending on mount type. He also gave great advice on the type of windowtreatments I should use for each situation. Very happy with the results!

Barry Lloyd called ahead, came on time, recommended the best solution, drove to the specialty place to purchase required parts, (we paid store price, no overhead), did the job, went beyond and above to put everything in perfect order before he left and charged extremely reasonable price for his labor. It is one month since he installed our new curtain rods, and it works and looks perfect. I had hard time finding the professional who knows how to fix old installation, and very happy that we found Barry!
Highly recommend him to anyone who needs windowtreatment job.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$100 measure and consultation. $200 minimum service charge for installation of up to four window coverings. Additional charges may include removing of existing window coverings (haul away not included), installing into metal, concrete, tile, or if window are over 10' from the floor.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I go to the site, measure and consult. After merchandise is purchased I return to install.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years and years of on the job training in the field.
