We have been published in Hardwood Floors magazine 2 separate times in the floor covering of the year contest. Nothing you want is beyond our capabilities. I am an independent company that has a showroom with hundreds of different types of floor coverings to choose from as well as manufacturer direct pricing on architectural molding (baseboard, crown moulding, doors, door casing, wall covering and moulding) and installation. We have it all for any of your finish carpentry needs, and are conveniently located at 2480 Washington Avenue in San Leandro CA. What I like most about my job is our finished products. Our move in specials out my favorites. We have a service we call our "Facelift" where we are able to change an entire home in a month to make everything brand new. Many of our new homeowner seem to be doing this within the last year so that their new property has an unused feeling and is a place they designed to be their own. We have a network of contractors to provide the Facelift service, and love to remodel entire homes to make older homes brand new again. Along side from brand new, we work direct with an electrical company to light up, and make these older homes safe for the future.

Aaron and his crew made my 70 year old badly damaged floor look like new again. After a thorough explanation of the refinishing process, they promptly began their work. Their scheduling was flexible being aware of the fact that I didn't want to move out of my house for long. Each stage of the process was thoroughly completed in an excellent manner and within 5 days my floor was beautifully refinished. The whole experience was pleasant and the cleanup was minimal. It was like magic and I couldn't be happier.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing only becomes complex as the customer wants to customize. We do have standard pricing for general hardwood sales. Our basic package for a 2 1/4" wide by 3/4" solid hardwood starts at $14 per square foot including all preparation, installation including all necessary materials, sanding with 3 coats of oil based finish, as well as a 3 1/4" baseboard throughout.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everyday is an educational lesson. There are no 2 jobs alike. There are no real educational processes we can go through other then from manufacturers new products we learn about. When something new does hit the market, we always take whatever training they may offer, and always use the latest and greatest in our fields technology.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My decision was a simple one, my family was in the industry, so I followed in their footsteps because I love being a carpenter.
