John did a fantastic job re0installing drywall, applying the correct texture and leaving the walls in excellent condition. I appreciate that he returned over the course of several days to ensure each step was completed, had time to dry and finish. He is a skilled, careful and professional. Highly recommended!

He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently and completed the repair in under 2 hours. I hired John to fix a sagging wooden fence. It needed new posts and a wider gate. He was very proactive about the job and even worked during the weekend to get it done ASAP. He kept me updated on the status of the job by texting me photos regularly. We had some miscommunication halfway through the project, but John was very professional about it and did what whatever it took to make the job right. The fence looks great and I’m confident it will last another 15 years at least. He also did some handyman tasks, like repairing a screen door, caulking a window and hanging a window blind. Everything was complete within a week and he always let me know the next time he would return so that I could alert my tenants.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm fair and negotiable in my pricing. I typically start out by the hour at a rate of $65/hr. I work fast and I show up with the right tools to do the job correctly. Once I have a better sense of the project, I will give you an overall estimate to complete the job, materials and labor. If it's a larger job that will take 2 or 3 days I will usually get one day's payment deposit so I can buy materials.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to build a repour and make sure I know exactly what the customers needs are. Once everything is clear then I will move forward, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and completing the job in a timely fashion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both an architect degree and a woodworking degree, as well as a general contractors license.
