We had a very large private party at a winery and needed something unique and fun for the guests. The winery suggested Rich as a magician for the party. I was not 100% sold on the idea but heard so many great things about him from others. Now I get it! He not only mingled during the cocktail portion of the night, he also subtly socialized and amazed people all night long! He's worth every penny and my friends were thrilled. Many had seen numerous magicians around the country but enjoyed this highly social and skillful style more. Rich is an amazing professional and you get what you pay for. Rich conveyed to me that he did not do "kiddie" magic but loves kids. Our event did have a few families and clients that brought some teens and preteens. They were in awe of Rich's abilities as much as the adults. It was perfect and glad they were not left out. If I had to sum it up, I'd simply say have Rich at your party if you want guests to have a great time. Rich does not steal the thunder, but somehow blows minds and gets people talking... I guess it's called magic for a reason! He made our party without a doubt. He was more than I expected as far as a catalyst for a good time.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure you understand the enormous range in magical talent. If you are looking for a novelty act or a highly skilled entertainer guests will rave about, be careful when booking something as vague as a magician. Think about it, if you were to hire a "musician", you'd have a lot more questions like, "What instruments do you play? Are you a country or rock band? Are you a composer, violinist, guitarists, etc, etc" There is a huge range in magical skills and used. Also, how a magician intends to engage your special guests is more important than any magic trick. Get a real pro and you and guests will be very satisfied.
