Dog training type
we have a Belgian shepherd, male, one year old. those dogs have strong personalities. Paula has immediately help bring up the quality of the dog, and best behaviors, with people and with other dogs. her knowledge of dog psychology help understand why dog react this or that way, and help bring and reinforce the desired responses. The training sessions have been productive and quite enjoyable.Aug 24, 2017Verified
I've been looking for a trainer for a while. My 1 year old Swedish Vallhund, Ice have been suffering from pretty bad separation anxiety. There would be crying, howling, destruction and peeing and pooping. Only after 3 sessions with Paula there is an enormous difference in Ice. Now when I leave she waits quietly infront of the door for a minute and then she goes and lay down and falls asleep. What I like best about Paula's training is that it is based on a genuine understanding of how a dog think, communicate and react. She has helped me in many ways to better understand my dog. All the while only using positive reinforcement to break Ice out of old bad habbitsJul 8, 2017Verified

Paula has been such a wonderful trainer for our puppy who was full of anxiety and too much for us to handle. We needed professional help! Just a few weeks ago we started training and Izzy (puppy) was jumping, counter surfing, biting, and destroying property. She still has some of these behaviors but they are lessening and improving A LOT! Paula is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and inspiring – as her business name implies. She always spends extra time with us and is happy to explain over and over again so we can understand what our dogs behavior. She truly speaks the dog language. Give her a try – you will be very happy with the results – we are!Dec 8, 2016Verified
Yes, my dog loved her more than any trainer we have worked on before. I do think if we implement her insights we will have good results. We are still just beginning implementation as she met with us just a few days ago. It went so well we have scheduled a follow up.Dec 22, 2016Verified
