Introduction: My teaching of drum set stands out because I make a drum lesson fun and challenging as I perform and teach full time on the drums. Kids and Adults are going to learn foundation, technique, how to read, and play to songs and charts of music that they like! I love educating kids and adults so they feel excited and eager to work to get better on the drums. This comes with how I approach the drum lesson. I am always focused on the student, their styles of learning/playing, and the goals they want to achieve. Plus, at the end of the year we get to perform in a concert together with other pro musicians, I love my job!

Jeff is a great teacher that has so much patience and talent for his students. Jeff is an awesome teacher! I'm a veryyy slow learner and he's been very patient with me. He even provides videos of snare exercises we just went over so you can practice in between lessons. Jeff is super encouraging and makes learning something new so much fun!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet and get to know my new client and what music they like. I show them a way to play their favorite song, even if its their first drum lesson. Then I challenge them to go above and beyond on the drum set.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Berklee College of Music, and Cal state East Bay. I also have an AA in Intercultural Communications. I have been teaching since 2009, and working in my field of music.
