What can I say. Having such an accomplished artist as Dawn paint a mural for us is an honor. The work that she accomplished was amazing. She was responsive, stayed in touch at all times and was a joy to have at our house. And the mural… absolutely beautiful. Neighbors are coming over and are amazed. I was so pleased with Dawn’s work! From the first message, to her arrival, everything was smooth and easy. Then I saw what an incredible artist she is and I was just elated. I printed out a rendering of what I wanted and told her to make it as close as possible and she just made it look 1 million times better than I could have ever imagined!! She painted the exterior and interior of my tiny house so it looks like a tropical paradise rather than an ugly box. She is fantastic and you should absolutely hire her right away. I will be using her for all of my art needs from here on out!

Absolutely stunning work for a fair cost. Dawn was fantastic to work with every step of the way. Neither of us were in a rush, and as a result she made sure the end result was a highly impressive piece of art. Communication is key when sending money and working remotely with someone you’ve never met before. Dawn made me feel like my project request was in the right hands every time we touched base. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
(PLEASE do not contact me for Graffiti or holiday window painting work..thank you!!!!) pricing is mostly based on size and difficulty..for example a lot of ladder or scaffold climbing can raise the rate a bit, or heavy detail or portraits..
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we establish art direction and scope, mock ups and sketches are done to create design and estimate. If we continue, we can fine tune details, set up the calendar and proceed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at CSULB as well as Otis Parsons school of design. I had a mentor for 7 years, as well as was an apprentice at College of The Desert Art department. I co-owned and operated TessWorks pottery studio at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. from there owned and operated Von Flue Studio speciallizing in murals, fine art, pottery, illustrations until the name changed to Whitney-Hall Studio in 2014
