Teaching the fundamentals of the game creates a real foundation to improve. Specializing in 1 or 2 skills diminishes your opportunities to develop a well-rounded game. At the National Team level you want to know how to play volleyball using all skills and that's what I teach.
What I will use to train your athlete:
-Technical training based on your athlete's ability and coordination
-Explanation to your athlete of why they need to do it in this manner
-Video Review of your athlete while prioritizing their goals
-Convenient locations to assist you in scheduling the opportunity
-Personal contact with your player outside of lessons to develop personal responsibility
-Professional and National Team playing and coaching education
My Career Bio:
I've been playing and coaching volleyball for over 14 years. I achieved a State Championship in Junior College. Considered a top middle blocker while excelling in the NCAA . Played 4 years of professional volleyball in 10 countries. Trained with the USA National Volleyball indoor team for 5 years.
I joined the USA Junior National beach team for 2 years and earned the AAA rating in CBVA (California Beach Volleyball Association). I've also won an AVP Next beach volleyball competition, made the AVP Main Draw in Manhattan Beach and took 2nd place in the Norceca representing USA Beach Volleyball.

We have been have had a great experience with Kris. Both of our daughters have noticeably improved in the first two sessions. We really like his break down of fundamentals. Our daughters enjoy working with him, and we are very happy with the results.

Kris has done an excellent job as a private coach for my daughter. He is a very knowledgeable volleyball coach and puts forth that knowledge to fix the errors she is making. Since the first practice, my daughter has improved in all aspects of the game and has been able to become a much better overall volleyball player.

Kris is amazing! He helped improve my daughters game and work ethic. With four kids I greatly appreciate his punctuality and communication. My daughter is a bit slow to warm up to teachers and coaches. She and Kris hit it off on the first day. His volleyball skills are undeniable, but moreover his positive and calm attitude really create an ideal learning environment. This has allowed my daughter huge steps forward in her skills and motivation. Just because you’re an amazing player doesn’t mean you’re an amazing teacher. Kris truly is a fabulous teacher as well as player.

KJ is an excellent volleyball coach/trainer with extensive experience and provides high level, detailed coaching to all levels of volleyball players. I appreciate that he takes the time to be very detailed in explaining how to improve skills and uses unique drills and exercises that really helped my daughter with her serving and passing. I would highly recommend KJ.

I was a Full time Volleyball player who grew to enjoy making others better so I decided to provide it as a service.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding a coach who can give you a few cues and you as a player will start to become more self aware of how you play.
