Muir construction did a few jobs around my new house ranging from plumbing (installing gas fireplace) and hanging a tv mount. They did so with ultimate professionalism. I would trust them to do work on my house again in the future for sure. Extremely high quality of work at the right price. Thanks so much!!!!Nov 19, 2020Verified

Amazing. Anything and everything I threw at him, received one simple response “no problem.” When you are making a lot of decisions and time is of the essence, it is invaluable to have a resource like David on speed dial. Cannot recommend him highly enough.Sep 12, 2020VerifiedMuir Construction's reply
Thank you so much Michelle. My pleasure. Nothing is impossible. Well, maybe 1 but I havent found it yet. :)
Dave did an excellent job replacing some bathroom fixtures for me. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He even went the extra mile to help me understand which fixture to buy and solved problems creatively when all of the pieces in the set didn't fit perfectly. I would highly recommend Dave - he'll be my go to guy for future projects.Sep 10, 2020VerifiedMuir Construction's reply
Thank you Mike, glad I could help and despite the flange not fitting I was able to work my magic and amend it just so and you cant even tell its different. :)

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My hourly wage is $54.00 for myself, Experienced Carpenter worker $50.00 and $46.00 or experienced laborer I have a $150.00 MINIMUM. Nothing really is standard and if I price by the job, I calculate it 3 different ways to come up with the best averages cost so I can provide a competitive price and cover all my bases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Start out with a quote if the job can be priced as a whole or present an hourly wage with an approximate time of completion. Describe the steps I am taking in the project. Show and describe difficult situations, so they understand the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to a tech school in high school and my major for 3 years was cabinet making. My high school was very cutting edge. I worked in the field building hundreds and actually probably thousands of different projects from additions, indoor/outdoor kitchens, bathrooms, pools, landscape lighting, homes, custom cabinetry to product design and beyond. I’m a fine artist, musician, professional DJ and am an expert in recording engineering. I studied landscape Architecture and am also a master horticulturist.
