FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The total amount listed for individual shoots covers planning your shoot, the session time, my expertise and time, editing and retouching, file handling and delivery as well as taxes. If you are paying with a credit card, credit card fees will apply. If you are using a professional for your hair and makeup, your payment will be handled with them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A lot of the people I work with have never done a professional photoshoot before. After you have booked your session, paid your deposit, and sent me your information I will follow up with a call to go over the shoot details. The details include ideas and concepts you're interested in, wardrobe, hair and makeup, and location (if applicable). But probably the biggest part of the pre-session details is you! I am a people person, and before we spend our time together for your session I like to get to know you. This not only helps us both feel more comfortable when working together, but allows me to better create images that are unique to you! I highly encourage before our session to send me ideas, styles that you like or images that inspire you. When the day comes for our shoot, I will help match those colors and style to your wardrobe and assist with posing and direction when needed. Ultimately this day is about you, and I am here to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a business degree in marketing and education in photojournalism. I have been a working photographer going on 4 years now. I am continuously learning and growing and look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
