After receiving a HIGH estimate for the work needed from our local plumber, we called American Leak Detection out to the house (Lompoc, CA). Their technician (Jesse) was amazing. He quickly identified the problem and performed the work for a third of the cost quoted by the other guys. The experience with American Leak Detection and Andy was nothing short of amazing. Andy came in, analyzed the situation, troubleshot, overcame challenges, and identified the leak in under 2 hours. Considering we had 2 acres of land, 6 bathrooms, multiple adu's, and innumerable places where this leak could have been springing from that was incredible. Plus Andy was nice, professional, and easy going. I don't think I can call anyone else as long as I know Andy is around.

I had an irrigation leak that had eluded all efforts to isolate and find it by conventional means. We have over an acre of relatively new landscaping, all put at risk by the leak, not only in terms of the need to keep the system off to avoid wasting water (the leak was over 15 gallons/hour) but also due to the possibility of having to dig up the place (perhaps even hardscape) to try and find the leak. With summer heat approaching, we had to get this solved!
American Leak Detection to the rescue. With their equipment, techniques, and experience, they found and pinpointed the location in about an hour, with no digging required. When our landscapers dug down in the marked location they found the leak in a main irrigation line, 2 feet deep, in the exact spot marked by American Leak Detection. What a relief! Landscaping saved!
