I played with Randy Meisner of Eagles, Rick Roberts of Firefall, Firefall, Stu Hamm and Dave Mason. * Composer -- I have a bachelor of music degree from Cal State in Northridge. I have composed music for films, "The Lucky Girl", "The Incident", "The Peace Experience" and performed with celebrities reading Shakespeare at the Geffen theater with Tom Hanks, Robin Williams, and Billy Crystal. * Songwriter -- I have written over 100 songs, 18 are on iTunes. * Producer -- I produced several CDs and film scores. * Music director -- I was the music director for "Buddy" the Buddy Holly Story at the Pacific Palisades Theater and "Alice and the Trials of Wonderland" at Chaminade High School. * Teacher -- I teach guitar, flute, sax, clarinet, violin and keyboards. I offer private instruction and have been teaching at schools for over 15 years, including New Roads School, Westside Waldorf School, Ocean Charter School, Community Magnet, Highland Hall Waldorf, and Norm's Rare Guitar Store.

We found Bray Ghiglia for our son's clarinet classes on this website. He's an amazing teacher, patient, was able to find a good approach to the student. Within 10 months they covered a regular 2 year program. Thanx to Bray our son moved from the beginners group to the advance level at his school orchestra in a rather short period of time. He also teaches flute, piano, violin and guitar, all at the high level! Absolutely would recommend this great teacher!

What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach music. Guitar, Flute, Sax, Clarinet, Violin and keyboards. Individual private lessons, small group lessons, large classes, bands and orchestra. I compose and produce music. Singer songwriters, TV commercial, student and professional film scores and video games. I perform as a singer, guitarist, and woodwinds player with my own band and with others. I work as a music director leading bands for theater productions and TV shows. I deliver what is needed on time and within budget.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advertisement is word of mouth. A referral from a friend is great. If you don't have a referral, my advice is to hire someone you feel comfortable with. So try one lesson and see how it feels. You will be sitting in a room with this person so it help if you like them. Check out their references if you can, it's OK for you to ask for them. Listen to their body of work. You want someone with similar interests so you will learn what you like. Good Luck with you search.
