Introduction: I've been self-employed as a professional singer and songwriter since 2014. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Loyola University New Orleans with a focus in classical vocal performance. In addition, I have received formal coaching in pop vocal performance for nearly two decades, and have also received professional songwriting training through both private lessons as well as college classes. As the child of a music producer and a literary teacher, my two passions have always been music and teaching. I have a ton of experience in teaching music to individuals as well as groups, and I also have some experience in Music Therapy.

Devon was extremely helpful in helping me understand the right techniques to improve my voice. Despite being super nervous, she helped me feel extremely comfortable. I heard a massive difference from when I began to when our lesson ended and I’m beyond excited for future lessons.

I chose to work with Devon not only because she has mad skills when it comes to singing, writing songs, and performing but also because she is friendly, non-judgmental, and professional. She’s given me warm up techniques for keeping my voice healthy. When I bring in a song, she helps me work on it both vocally and for performance. She’s given me tips on microphone technique and how to articulate what I need in terms of the sound person and what I want/need to hear. She meets me where I am which is so important. I highly recommend Devon Baldwin.
