Ongaro & Sons Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical was established in 1932 by Ernest V. Ongaro (that's two years before the Golden Gate Bridge was opened!) and we have been proudly serving our community ever since. Our goal is to provide the highest level of service and value in the industry. Today, we have third generation family members working hard to carry on the family tradition of providing our customers with quality workmanship and exceptional service. We maintain a steadfast commitment to employee education and development. Careful attention is made to protect our customers' property during all phases of the installation. We strictly follow applicable codes, manufacturer recommendations and industry standards in all our installations. We provide parts and labor warranties that go beyond industry standards. Along with a full heating and air conditioning service department, we also provide service for plumbing, drain cleaning and leak detection.

We recently had Ongaro come to our home to do a check on our air conditioner before turning it on since we knew it was getting old. They not only found it needed replacement (original) but our furnace which was also long past its prime needed replacing as well. Their field supervisor, Nicholas, spent time explaining our different options and scheduling the replacement within a few days. One the installment day, we had 3 trucks, and four technicians arrive, led by Salvador, and they were able to complete the job in one day. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable and explained the procedure as they worked. We were very fortunate to be able to have the work completed before the hot weather arrived the next day. Our new system is efficient and quiet.

I highly recommend Ongaro & Sons for their excellent service, particularly by Gino Boccaleoni. Gino listens well, considers each of our concerns, and communicates clearly, making even complex procedures and details comprehensible. Gino's positive and cheerful personality made working with him a pleasure. He is trustworthy, reassuring, and always had good solutions and options to suggest. We also appreciate that Gino was knowledgeable, well-organized, and efficient. He spoke highly of his co-workers whom we also found to be well-trained, knowledgeable, and efficient, and as polite, considerate, and accommodating as Gino. When we discovered an unexpected problem with the heating system on a cold Saturday morning, an Ongaro supervisor, just home from a trip, called that evening and then arrived Saturday night to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. This was excellent customer service considering that the office is closed on weekends and we could only leave a message, which we expected would not to be attended to until the following Monday.

Ongaro & Sons have an outstanding workforce. We have been clients for four decades and with our century old house in Sausalito, have called them in for repairs and updates on numerous occasions. Last week Rick Edwards and Chad gave fair estimates for replacing two electrical panels and installing an EV connection etc. Both were courteous and patient in explaining details to me.The following week Anthony and Fabian, the installers, patiently continued my education, now that my husband can no longer deal with this. It was a pleasure to have them in the house for acouple of days. Both were punctual, trustworthy and tidied up at the end of each day. I did not have to stay at home, knowing that the house was in their good hands. They even replaced a worn out light switch at the end of their work day. Amazing people!
