Introduction

Here at Midstate Appraisal services we provide accurate and professional appraisal reports for both residential and commercial properties. We have been serving Santa Barbara County since 1986. We are very familiar with all areas in the County including Santa Barbara, the Santa Ynez Valley and the Santa Maria Valley. We also service Southern San Luis Obispo County and soon to come Ventura County.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices for residential properties start at $450. Discounts available for Veterans.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start the process with an interview to determine the scope of work for the appraisal. This includes the purpose of the appraisal, intended use and user of the appraisal. We will walk our clients through the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have two appraisers in our office. Kelly White is a Certified Residential Appraiser with 10 years experience. Sharon Steele is a Certified General Appraiser with 39 years of experience. Sharon also holds the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute.
