Hi, My name is Darren West. I am a professional painter and a high level get it done man. I have been painting for 20 years and have extensive experience with interior as well as exterior projects. I also update cabinets and have knowledge with faux installations as well as being able to fix drywall and repair wood and stain projects. PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE ME IF YOU JUST WANT TOUCH UPS DONE!! I have many clients that trust me with the keys to their home and some I have been with for so long I have seen their kids grow, which has basically made me part of their families. I complete my projects in a timely and neat fashion. One of my motos is to leave the job site cleaner than when I showed up. I have a very high attention to detail and have worked in very high end homes that can be nothing less than perfect. We have a large redwood deck and awning that needed sanding and painting. Darren did a fantastic job on the project for us, and the deck looks wonderful now. He was even able to fix some corners that had been chewed on by a dog. He also sanded and restained our teak patio set for a small extra fee. Our deck looks great again and I will definitely call on him in a few years when we need to do it again, as well as for other interior painting jobs. He's also a really nice guy and easy to have around doing work. Thanks Darren!

I hired Darren for a long-overdue cleaning and oiling of a hardwood deck, along with a bit of sanding. The curveball was that I wanted to prioritize minimizing environmental and health risks over pure aesthetics, and for me that meant researching some less common options. We ended up pressure-washing with just water, no cleaner at all, and using Outdoor Defense Oil from the Milk Paint Co., which is a combination of tung oil and pine solvent. It took some joint research and a good deal of discussion to reach those decisions. Even though these materials were not part of Darren's usual repertoire, I appreciated his experience in helping think through what would work, and most of all his openness and eagerness to try them. I also appreciated his expertise and professionalism in doing the work and having the right tools for the job. It would have taken 10x longer and/or caused much collateral damage if I had tried this myself! I would strongly recommend Darren.

Darren was outstanding in painting our accent walls. I had misrepresented the extent of work to be done, which required him to work twice as long. He showed no signs of frustration, was extremely easygoing through the whole process, and the prices were very competitive. I highly recommend him.

Darren has done extensive work for me and I can truly say he is the best. He is very neat and efficient. He not only painted my entire interior but I had new light fixtures to install. He said he would do it, no problem. So, instead of having to call an electrician to do the lights he took care of it. He also fixed some drywall issues I had which saved me from calling yet another contractor. He gets the job done and has an amazing guy for detail. I highly recommend him any project. Sara Richards
