Counseling goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have over 20 years experience working with families and children in various capacities. Supporting your family is my top priority, while teaching coping skills and communication skills. I strive to help each person find their strengths and become their authentic self. No family is perfect. Each family has unique strengths and weaknesses just as each individual does. When life stresses bring anxiety, depression, anger management issues, suicidality or trigger a mental health event our families are affected. Many times we are unable to find resources and support that we need. We are in need of a non-judgmental relationship to discuss our needs, issues and find support. This is where family therapy can help. I will look forward to getting to know you and your family. I enjoy getting to know my clients and seeing them move through the trauma. Life can be so very difficult but when you learn to shift your perspective it makes all the difference! I am continually amazed and inspired by my clients of all ages. As I work with clients, I learn new things. It is truly an amazing job!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a therapist it is important to have a "good fit." In order for therapy to be effective this is imperative. Do not be afraid to try out therapists to find one that you feel comfortable with. YOU are the consumer and have every right to terminate the relationship if it does not feel like a fit for you. As a therapist, my desire is to have the best outcome for my clients. If we do not have that goodness of fit then what is gained from therapy will be compromised. Therapy is for YOUR benefit, to help you navigate life's challenges. Find a therapist that you feel comfortable with and can relate to.
