I have over 38 years experience in the trades which primarily are centered around Plumbing & Drain Services, HVAC Services (excluding refrigerant charging ). I also do smaller electrical jobs like installing fans, lights , switches, receptacles, diagnostic work for electrical power loss, and its repair or restoration . Please realize that when you feel you should select the " simple task " and the " should only take 2 hours " options that this might not be the case .....typically a client is reaching out for a professional because they may not have the skills to do the job to begin with. I understand your concern. I have travel time there, I have to set up the equipment and do the job, then pick everything up, review your options for the issues at hand and explain them to you. I am very thorough with my work and take great pride in my craft, I’ve been doing this long enough to realize that everyone has a budget and my quality, promptness and expertise doesn’t always fit in everyone’s budget. You can check around and get a few prices and if you still need me, give me a call. Thank you. With plumbing it is very common to find more problems than just what you can see .....this can make the job a bit more complicated and then of course take longer .You won't find a lower price for the quality of work that I do. I GUARANTEE ALL of the work that I do. I enjoy meeting people and providing needed services and I am happy to explain what needs to be done within reason ....I cannot be on the phone teaching plumbing 101 but I do want to be thorough for sure ....you can talk to me anytime . I am very transparent and make every effort to not end up with any surprises to pass on to my clients . If something else is required I make it known and thoroughly explain why and sometimes this will come with additional time and materials costs . Work Quality: Kev did excellent work, replacing a dishwasher, faucet, garbage disposal. He also did a custom air gap installation that required a difficult drilling through a ceramic sink. It was not an easy task, but Kev executed it perfectly. There were zero leaks afterwards, and everything worked well. Communication: Nowadays, many contractors often ghost their clients. Kev is extremely responsive and quick to reply. Value: Kev charges a fair price for his work. I would definitely use Kev again in the future.

K&M Services did an excellent job installing my dishwasher. It was a lot more challenging than they expected and they ended up having to remove all the old plumbing and install new plumbing, but they did a great job of all of it.

Kev did a great job on installing RO system in my place, solidly and made everything clean. He checked all parts carefully and explained to me about how they works, their future maintenance, and how to fix them if needed. He also waited long enough to double check on leakage though it’s dinner time. Would definitely love to ask for his help once needed on plumbing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do put out fixed rate quotes most times for most requests and after hours or Holiday time periods .....especially if its an emergency. I typically I come in lower than any other service for that particular situation . Its here that future service calls are made , as I always want to be the clients go-to guy. I do have a minimum 1 hour rate and can pro-rate hourly charges if requested !!!! Can always consult with me about costs and estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would say its kind of like opening a present ......you dont know whats inside but your Happy to be there and have the opportunity .....so your mindset and demeanor should reflect that. Sometimes folks are having a tough time and may be frustrated about the situation , so its here that patience and understanding are really important in order to reassure the customer that all will be done to sort out and remedy the issue at hand.

I do review tech updates for Plumbing fixtures and materials.
