I used this contractor to install concrete steps. He had problems communicating his design plan to me, leaving me concerned about the proses. He gave me a list of what would be needed to have delivers to complete the job, he send me back twice after that to return stuff and get more. After the concrete was pored, he left the site a mess a $23 box of mostly not used screws dumped in the ivy, unused 2x8x8's not used, a bunch of unused rebar, even the "dobies" he claimed he needed more then originally ordered (sent me to get more) none of them were used, the used step boards, chemicals and mud all over the driveway and scattered in the ivy, I cleaned up after he left, into the evening. He claimed the concrete needed to "cure " for 28 days before he could remove the forms. This was not true, concrete company said 3 to 4 days; I was on a scheduled and needed it done. When pushed he said he would come and take a look. He came out when I was not there and removes the iron spikes and in the process chipped the top landing. He only removed the easy spikes and nothing that didn't have value (I watched this on the security camera recording). He never called back. At that point I decided it was safer and less stressful to remove the forms my self and take all the garage to the dump. I call the contractor and told him there was no reason to return. The steps ended up with concrete protruding in places where the forms were poorly done, not enough to make them unusable, but not a professional job.

I found this guy on Craigslist and wish I hadn't hired him to replace my concrete driveway! He was unreliable, did sloppy work and failed to complete the project after 3 months of delays, excuses, etc. I found out from the Contractors Licensing Board that his license had been revoked!! Just today another contractor tore out his shoddy work (not even to Code) and gave me a beautiful driveway! Finally, 3 months of headaches are over!!
