I hired Alex to surprise my husband for his birthday with a fine dining meal in the comfort of our home. We started with scallops. Usually my husband are so so on scallops - but Alex chose the best, fresh scallops and cooked them to perfection. They were delicious. Then, we moved onto a butternut squash soup. I loved the texture - thick and rich. There was a little extra, so Alex left it in the fridge for us. My husband told me to stay away from the leftovers this morning because he wanted it, so it must have been good. We then had a nice salad with really fresh, great tasting tomatoes. We ended with the main course - my husband's favorite - beef wellington and mashed potatoes with gravy. I have never had beef that was that tender. We haven't stopped talking about how good it was. Alex was friendly and professional. He served us the entire meal and then cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for a fantastic chef.

Alex was amazing the food was awesome couldn't have asked for anything better the food was excellent the cake was unbelievable upsidedown pinapple the flavors were incredible definitely going use his services again

The food was delicious. Alexander made sure to understand what we wanted and how we wanted it presented. We actually didnt have drop-off - Alexander cooked in our kitchen. He was professional all the way through.

Alexander was fantastic. A first-rate experience from beginning to end. The food he prepared was outstanding, and all my guests agreed. Alexander communicates well, which was the first sign that I was dealing with a consummate professional. He worked with me to plan the menu, he arrived on time, and his fun and easy-going manner helped immensely as he cooked his way into our hearts. I recommend him 110%.

My favorite private chef in the LA area! Chef Alex always makes such top of the line dishes that look just as good as they taste. He creates a dining experience unlike no other and I definitely recommend him for your next dinner party!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We communicate via text or phone after I send them a quote. Then we decide what type of cuisine they would like, how many people will be present, which way they would like the food presented (buffet or plated), dietary restrictions, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Institute of Culinary Education (ICE)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 16 years old, I worked as a delivery boy for a pizzeria. I guess it all just unraveled from there.
