FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to get to know a little bit about the pet and owner through phone call or messaging. Then. I typically like to meet both the owner and their pet before the service. During the meet & greet, I get to know your pet and get to learn about his/her needs and typical day and schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking care of animals for approximately 20 years, including my own as well as client’s pets. I have volunteered at many different animal organizations and rescues, where I gained experience working with animals of all sizes, temperaments and ages. At the age of 17, I had the opportunity to be an intern at my local veterinary office for 2 years. During this time, I got the opportunity to experience working closely with pets that suffered from a variety of medical conditions as well as administering medication.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up with a golden retriever and would be the main person in my family to take care of him. After he passed away, our family was not ready to get another dog so, I began walking and boarding neighbors dogs to get my doggy fix.
