As a 25 year old recent graduate from NYU's prestigious music school, I bring a fresh approach to the teaching world. As an advanced piano player, film composer, and record producer for Grammy nominated artists, my knowledge of music goes beyond that of most other teachers. Jon has been giving me piano lessons for almost a year. He is a patient, informative, positive, and dedicated teacher. I have enjoyed my lessons with him a lot. Going into the experience of recording music that I have been writing for years, one can imagine that I'd very vulnerable experience for me. From the very first minute, Jon took it upon himself to give me confidence not only in my ability, but as an individual. I can't thank him enough for being so professional and relatable on so many levels. But above all, this man just makes good music. He's so receptive to what you have to say and the sound you want to make without compromising his artistry or the quality of the work. I'm so proud of the work we have accomplished together and what we still have left to get done. He wants you to be happy and he is willing to work with you until your satisfied. He's straightforward and wants to make the music as great as you know it can be. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I didn't know Jon going into this process, but I'm certainly glad I do now. He's a sounding board and a musical savant. I can't believe how hard working this dude is and how committed he is to my work regardless of how good or bad I thought I sound. He knows what he is doing and really, that's all anyone can ask for. Jon does it because he loves it. He happens to be really good, but that's just the cherry on top of a magnificent skill set that is going to take him beyond reviews from Thumbtack. Dude is diamond in the rough. I am someone that looks for mistakes or weaknesses and bad product. I don't take things for what they are. The reality is, this dude is just good and anyone would be lucky to work with him.

My rate is $75/Hr.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During a first lesson, I love to connect with my students in order to learn about their goals and interests first. Once that is established, I create a personalized lesson plan in order to help my students achieve their goals in the most efficient way possible!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from NYU. I have also produced music for several Grammy nominated artists and released several projects as an Independent artist.
