Introduction

I love to take on challenges and help to make the best piano or voice student out of someone. In my piano teaching I supplement with a program that reiterates what was just learned. Voice lessons are all about extending your range and being comfortable singing. Singing should be easy and that is the tools that I give to my students. I give them the tools so that they can sing anything them please. I love to have new students come to me, and figure out what they want to accomplish musically and then I create a special program just for them to achieve that particular goal.

Amie was my vocal coach during high school. Prior to Amie I struggled to be able to hear music and hit the right notes. I really sounded like any other teenager squawking to the radio. I really wanted to participate in theater in high school and that really was only made possible through my vocal lessons with Amie. I could tell she was really invested in my learning, she was knowledgeable on techniques to help me learn, and had a great way of helping me visualize the music as I sang to help me hit the hard notes. She really knows what she is talking about. If you trust her method and practice, then you will see life long results. It had been a few years since my last voice lesson. But I can tell even now when I sing for enjoyment or to my baby boy, the muscle memory kicks in and I am a much more confident singer.

Awesome instructor! I’ve never felt so confident in my voice before and I sound so much more different than I did earlier. It feels like a huge transformation and I love how Amie focuses on the “correct way to sing” as opposed to just learning to sing in one style.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I go to Music Conferences and I am constantly researching about the way that anyone can learn music and the new programs out there. I have been taught by a renowned vocal coasch as well as Celebrity coaches.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have sang since I was little and after taking voice lesson and going for my Masters - equivalency in Music Therapy I realized that the gift of music is the best thing that you can give to someone. I love my job it is so much fun, to get to know my students and create beautiful music together.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach vocal and piano lessons and music to all ages. I also teach a separate music program for a parent and child for children from birth -9 years of age. I love helping instill confidence and making a vouce beautiful! Anyone can sing with determination, being coaschable, and practice.
