My lighting installation was flawless! I loved how quickly VicRad Home Services was able to come out to do the work and he stuck around to make sure I was 100% satisfied with how everything looked. We will definitely call on him again for electrical work.

This was my first time using thumbtack and first electrician at my home. It was a great experience all around. He communicated quickly and clearly. He replaced several three way light switches (with weird wiring) into new smart switches. I had purchased the switches and he installed them. He went above and beyond and added a power outlet where wasn’t one in my garage. Really great work. Left everything looking good. Highly recommend and will work with him again.

Details: Yes, there is existing wiring • Replace switch or outlet • 3 switches or outlets • Rooms without water access (e.g., bedroom) • Garage • Drywall • House

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always acquaint myself with the scope of work (SOW), as well as the customer’s desired outcome in the look and functionality of the work completed. On the project, I go through a pre-task planning (PTP) list which allows me to gauge what materials/supplies are needed to safely complete the job and helps me locate any deficiency in the pre-existing work, which I then notify the customer about.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied computer science but besides that, in the trades, I apprenticed and later completed my foreman’s training and proceeded to work as a senior foreman and then field project manager on electrical projects.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I come from a family of general contractors, electricians, plumbers, and farmers to name a few. Having started apprenticing as a plumber at the age of 15, I transitioned to the electrical field and have since worked for an electrical corporation where I gained my experience and work ethic.
