Jill is the most genuine trainer I’ve talked to. She’s an expert when it comes to understanding dogs. Most importantly shes honest! She isn’t like your average dog trainer who will milk your money. My dog has a odd condition where he has so much anxiety he bites while he’s sleeping. Jill has been able to point me in the right direction where I finally have some hope for my dog!Aug 5, 2020Verified
Jill is amazing!! She helped me socialize and train my foster dog Akin who was nervous as all get out. She was very kind and calm when working with him, and took her time getting to know him and guiding him through the training. I have also been able to watch Jill train other dogs and I like the positive reinforcement approach. I've seen other trainers use different approaches to show the dog who's boss, but when I watched Jill in action the dogs were much more receptive and confident. I have been practicing some of what I have learned from Jill with my own dogs. I plan to take my wild child Pickle to Jill for some much needed training.Jun 26, 2020
I love Jill! She is so amazing with behavior training and taking great care of our pups! I highly recommend her for all things dog related! She does puppy training, corrective behavior training (aggressive or anxious dogs) as well as boarding, MOST importantly she does all this using positive reinforcement!!!Jun 11, 2020
My newest rescue Ziggy came with a few issues. We rescued him from a Shelter. He had leash issues and some minor aggression on leash while approaching other dogs etc. He is very gently and loving with our kids however we wanted him socialized and trained for proper leash behavior. Jill was EXTREMELY knowledgeable on our dogs behavior. She had an amazing grasp on the science of behavior and how to apply that to training and getting the best out of your dog. She uses a science based training. Using positive reinforcement for Ziggy and has gotten us on the right track and now we truly know how to help him be the best dog he can be. Jill got us REAL results and I cant thank her enough... She helped us identify where his anxieties were coming from and how to shape the responses in that environment. Posting a review is the least I can do... I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to seek her training.Jun 24, 2020
Incredibly impressed with Jill from Underdogs Long Beach. The communication was impeccable and thorough throughout our trainings. She answered all my questions and reassured me when I was in doubt. She gave me great tools each session and now my boy is finally starting to relax and be confident. Would highly recommend! A+!!!!!Jul 3, 2020
