I was referred to American River Electric by a friend. I built a new room in my house and needed all modern hook-ups, outlets, switches, recessed lighting, and conduit in my new build and Robie's work was not just neat and clean, but quick! I was very impressed with both his prices and how he actually explained things to me. I love it when a service call ends up in me knowing more about my house than I did before. Great Experience! Showed up OnTime and with all the Tools and Materials for the job. Explained in detail what he was going to do (then what he did) job was longer than expected yet he stayed until job was finished. Price was Extreamly Fair and My Wife and I are Very Happy with Job Done. Looks Perfect and Works Perfect. Just what we needed. Robie was extremely friendly, thorough and efficient. He came out the same day I called and explained everything he was doing. He did 4 small jobs in under 2 hours. Overall, I'm very pleased and will definitely call him for any future electrical work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service call rate is $75/hr, 2 hour minimum for a certified electrician with service truck and tools. Planned project rate on a multi-day project average is $56/hr for a crew of 2.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Same day service calls for unplanned emergencies are $75/hr, 2hour minimum. For planned projects I will schedule a site visit followed by a written estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The electrical construction industry requires continuous training on the latest technologies and safety codes and take courses throughout the year to maintain electrician certification.
