FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many times immigration cases will be offered on a flat fee basis. This allows the client to truly know what expenses he or she is facing. I also have a flexible payment plan option to make things as comfortable as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a lawyer we are required to attend continuing legal education classes. Above and beyond the hours required by the State Bar, I regularly attend seminars, webinars and other learning opportunities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in immigration law as a translator for another attorney. Years went by and I advanced to the role of a paralegal. I loved the work, the clients, and the fact that we were helping people with their life goals. I decided to go to law school and become an immigration lawyer so that I was guaranteed I could always work in the area of law that I love.
