I used AJ for an 800 square foot addition to my home in Santa Barbara. We added a master bedroom to our home and I couldn't have asked for a better contractor. He was very responsive and extremely patient for I had a lot of questions and add ons throughout the project. I have another home in the Santa Ynez Valley and he is our go to contractor for any and all of our needs. I have used his company several times now and I strongly recommend Houston Construction to anybody who is looking for a fair price with the extra attention to detail. He treated us like family.

Thumbtack sent me several referrals for carpentry work I need on my roof and porch. I selected AJ Houston Construction and am completely satisfied with the friendly and professional work completed by this company. AJ responded almost immediately. He and his worker were professional, clean, and efficient. They brought their own equipment, ladder and tools went right to work, completed the project and even painted the wood work perfectly. They tidied up everything and the cost of the project was a real bargain. I would definitely hire AJ again and highly recommend this business to my friends and family.
