Frankie Kraus’ Drum School

Hi, my name is Frankie Kraus. I am a lifelong drummer with over 10 years of professional experience playing live and performing studio/session work for various artists and musicians. I was born in raised in Baltimore, MD where I studied under Grant Menefee (who taught Nate Morton [The Voice], Jon Theodore [Queens of the Stone Age and Mars Volta], and Matt Halpern [Periphery]). More recently, I studied under the great Dimitri Fantini (Paiste Cymbals Artist) as his protégé. I am currently drumming for 6 different successful local bands across a myriad of different genres and styles in the greater Lake Tahoe area, as well as performing studio/session work for various local musicians and bands. I apply the same fundamentals that I learned from these amazing teachers and from my many years of experience to my students.
