James is an architect with integrity of design and character. He took a very personal approach that included a lengthy questionnaire to ensure that the home suited our lifestyle to a tee. His talent and attention to detail stands above the rest. We’ve been in our Ziggurat custom built home since 2008 and we are still in awe every day at the design and fit. The way light comes through and enhances the architecture at the golden hour takes my breath away. Our house is the crowned jewel of the neighborhood. Thank you James!

Working with James Blair-Ziggurat as the architectural and interior designer on my new house build in Coronado, CA was the best decision! James brought high end creative ideas that almost all were agreed to. He gave accurate cost estimates while patiently describing his vision and how the project would benefit. The end result was a custom house that not only is the envy of my neighbors but was featured in San Diego Home and Garden magazine!

I have been in a 1950s home since 2001 with a floor plan that was a bit awkward. James and his team came up with a new floor plan with much more usable space including an en suite with walk-in closet, an enlarged kitchen, and it removed an awkward addition from a room that didn’t make sense. They worked through about a dozen variations before we settled on the final plan. Great vision from James and the team!
